I am concerned by the fact that Deviant art requires people to mark any image that has a kiss between two women or two men as "potentially offensive" and yet they seem to allow multiple homophobic and hate-mongering comments to be posted without any sort of warning to the public. This demonstrates a clear homophobic bias. There are so many amazing, brilliant, and open-minded people sharing their art and their thoughts and feelings on this site, it is really disappointing that there is this homophobic sentiment. I hope for change and hope that people can work to undo the negative, hate-filled sentiments that keep on getting posted.

Why is it that Deviant art marks images of men kissing as offensive but allows images of women fingering their own vaginas (and does not mark these as offensive)? I think there is an offensive, homophobic undertone to a lot of this. Why should an image of love be considered MORE offensive than an obvious sexual image?
